We are still in Florence now. Unfortunately our time is almost up, we leave on the 7th of October. Things have been going well here though, we normally waste the days walking around the city or go to a museum. A lot of time has been spent looking for the perfect pair of boots, or trying to look at all of the shoes available before buying the right pair.
The other night we happened upon the world premiere of a Miracle at St. Anna and saw Spike Lee with his entourage of actors. Dinos mom and step dad came to visit for nearly a week to celebrate Dinos 25th birthday. It was great to take them around town and act like I knew how to navigate the labrynth of the city. Tonight two friends from Western (Ciara and Jimmy) are visiting us from Paris for a few days before we eventually make our way to France.
Today has marked a wonderful day for us because the German/Austrian Holiday market has assembled in Piazza Santa Croce. One of my favorite memories from visiting Dino last December was drinking spiced wine on a rotating carosel/bar on a chilly night infront of Santa Croce. Let the drinking begin!
